About Us

Mission
It is the mission of Paths Forward to empower and strengthen our community through providing
therapeutic interventions and compassionate services, treating families and individuals that are
underserved, and in need. We pride ourselves in offering comprehensive therapeutic services to our
clients, to help move them forward. Our staff, which includes professionals from clinical, medical, and
social work backgrounds, is rooted in providing services that are meaningful and positively impactful.
Our team specializes in providing services to individuals and families of all ages who have experienced
trauma. We offer an array of services and interventions specifically targeting children and families, with
the hopes of helping families heal, adjust to major life changes, and cope with difficult life
circumstances.

Vision
We have built out an innovative 3,000sqft Family Engagement Center located in
Central Las Vegas. Our facility is unique in the sense that it offers a variety of specialized interventions
including a Sensory room for Sensory Integrated
Treatment, a Teen Engagement Area, Workstation room, Family Support Area, and a Training Room.
It is our hope that our facility will continue to grow and become an integrated agency with full service offerings to individuals, children and families.

Meet the Team

Co-Founder and Clinical Director

Alisha Washington MSW, LCSW

Clinical Social Worker in the Las Vegas area. I specialize in healing from complex trauma, depression and anxiety, coping with loss and grief, anger and stress management, interpersonal conflict resolution, cognitive restructuring, emotion regulation, and overall symptom management. I have experience working with Individuals and families of diverse backgrounds and varying ages. I have a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, and a Master of Social Work, so I take pride in being connected to the community and having knowledge of supportive services and programs beyond what I am able to offer.

I have built my life and career around my passion to help others lead meaningful and happy lives. With over 15 years of professional experience in advocacy and social justice oriented work, I have shifted all of my passion into providing therapeutic services that help my clients move their lives forward, meeting them where they are, and supporting them along their journey.

Co-Founder and Director of Operations

Jamila Riley LMSW, CSW - I

I am a clinical social worker in the Las Vegas Valley who has been serving in a helping capacity for over 5 years. I am a veteran of the armed forces and have experience working with an array of populations from children and families to veterans and the elderly population. I specialize in talk therapy, loss and grief, trauma, and working from a strengths based approach with the client(s). I have a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada Reno and currently hold an MSW licensure to practice as a social worker in multiple States.

I am passionate about helping others and strive to ensure clients grow in our sessions and see the change they set out to achieve. I hold myself and my clients accountable for the journey we set out on together to remain honest and committed to doing the work necessary to heal and grow. I look forward to seeing you soon!
