We are currently partnered as a preferred provider for The Dept of Family Services, The Harbor, Clark County School District, and The Dept of Juvenile Justice. We also partner with Foster Kinship and area psychiatric hospitals.
Our
Story
Paths Forward is a non-profit organization established in 2021. Since inception, we have provided uniquely tailored services specifically targeting children and families involved in child welfare to help preserve and reunify family systems. We have maintained goals to foster preserving families who are currently at risk of having their children being displaced and reunifying families who have already had their children removed from the home. It is our intent to bring a holistic healing that is required when this level of trauma is introduced to the family system. This includes all members of the family being involved in the healing process. Many of our services have been opened to the entire family to bridge any gaps in services that contributed to their involvement with Child Welfare. We are driven by the desire to see families win and overcome obstacles that have hindered their progress to maintaining unity. This is a collective effort, and we strive to be a pivotal support for children and families to use now and into the future.
AND......
In our efforts to be inclusive, we have been driven to find additional supports to engage children and families who were also affected by the recent societal changes due to Covid 19. As an agency, we took notice to the increase in psychiatric hospitalizations, the increase in child welfare cases and the declines in academics and social skills. This year we have included some creative family engagement activities and Teen groups to support the new normal families are working to establish since the pandemic. This programmatic addition is inclusive of ANY child and family in the greater Las Vegas area seeking additional supports.
